AORA Beauty & Hair Salon
AORA had the room, the treatments, and the returning clients. What it did not have was a way of being seen. We took over the brand’s public voice — photography, content, paid reach, and the people who speak on its behalf — and gave a quiet wellness house the presence its practice already deserved.
Challenge
AORA was already open, already working. Treatments ran, clients returned, the space did what a wellness house should do. The problem sat entirely outside the door. Its public presence did not carry the calm or the care of the practice itself — inconsistent, thin, and easy to scroll past in a Jakarta market where wellness is a crowded and highly visual category. An established business was performing below what its own quality warranted, for reasons that had nothing to do with the treatments.
Approach
The read was that AORA did not need reinvention. It needed representation. Wellness is bought on a feeling — the sense that a place is calm, competent, and worth handing your body to — and that feeling either survives the journey to a screen or it does not. So the work was not to build a brand from nothing but to close the gap between the room and its image: get the photography right, hold a consistent voice, then put paid reach and trusted voices behind it once the foundation could carry the traffic.
The work
GAEA took on AORA’s social media management and content production from mid-2025 — a consistent photography programme built around the space, the treatments, and the texture of the experience, replacing the ad-hoc imagery that had been standing in for it. From there the scope widened into marketing management: digital advertising to extend reach beyond the existing following, and an influencer endorsement programme placing AORA in front of Jakarta audiences already engaged with beauty and wellness. Marketing strategy ran alongside as an ongoing consultation rather than a one-off deliverable.
